While reading "normal" generally accepted is 37.0 º C / 99.0 º F, the temperature readings can vary from 36.1 º F to C/97.0
37.2 º C / 99.0 º F and can still be considered "normal." Temperature variations can be attributed to activities such as exercise, smoking, eating and drinking. Body temperature is lowest in the morning than the afternoon. Other variations are due to body temperature which is measured. While the oral temperature follows the rules described above, the rectal temperature is generally 0.5 º C/1.0 º F higher, and axillary (underarm) temperature is 0.5 º C/1.0 º F lower.

1. Press ON / OFF button for connection. The unit will beep and display the screen:
The LCD screen will display for about 2 seconds.
2. Then, the last temperature taken is displayed with an "M" in the right corner.
3. When "L" flashes and the º C (º F) are displayed, the thermometer is ready for temperature measurement. But if
ambient temperature is below 32.0 º C (90 º F), ambient temperature is displayed instead of "L".
4. The beep sounds when the temperature measurement is complete.
5. Press the ON / OFF of the unit. (The unit will turn off automatically after approximately eight minutes after use.)
